
Justin Ash is CEO of Spire Healthcare and has built the FTSE 250 provider into the largest independent integrated healthcare provider in the UK. Spire has 38 hospitals and over 50+ clinics, a private GP network, plus occupational, physical, and mental health services. He has focused the business on high quality care, private pay growth and a growth strategy into integrated care. Spire is a leading NHS partner and cared for over 1.3 million people in 2024 – it is one of two independent sector Strategic Suppliers to the NHS. Justin is committed to a strong safety culture, carbon reduction and developing future clinicians. Spire runs a large apprenticeship programme, training nurses, biomedical scientists, engineers, pharmacists and more.
Previously, Justin was chief executive of Oasis Dental Care before leading its sale to Bupa, managing director of Lloyds Pharmacy and held senior positions at KFC and Allied Domecq. He is a member of the strategic council for the Independent Healthcare Providers Network and is Chair of Trustees for Global Health Partnerships.
