Syed initially trained as a doctor in the NHS before delivering care in several Asian countries with International SOS. Inspired by global challenges in healthcare, Syed gained experience across EMEA though an INSEAD MBA, internship at Johnson and Johnson and a management consultant role with McKinsey. Pursuing a passion for innovation, Syed then moved to the USA with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) being responsible for investments in innovative drugs, devices and diagnostics development programs. Currently, Syed is advising a healthcare technology on their international expansion before a planned return to the USA in a corporate digital innovation role.
