LaingBuisson kicked off its Women in Health & Care event series in 2023 after consistently finding it more challenging to attract women speakers to its events. From imposter syndrome to fundraising, data shows that women leaders and entrepreneurs have a tougher time in developing their businesses and their careers than their male counterparts.

We believe this is an imbalance that deserves serious attention. Following the success of our first event in 2023, The Women in Health & Care event series aims to increase the visibility and influence of women in senior roles across health and social care by fostering a supportive community where they can connect, share learning, and build on their success.
