Rosemary has had a long and varied career spanning both the public and private sector
She moved from gastrointestinal research, clinical audit and governance in a London Teaching Hospital to the private sector. She established one of the first governance programmes in the sector and moved on to a corporate role as Group Director (VP)of Clinical Governance and Performance for HCA.
She is a previous President of the Section on Quality in Healthcare at the Royal Society of Medicine and has been an invited lecturer on a number of healthcare management degree courses provided by Imperial College, Thames Valley University, University of Loughborough
She now is now a non-executive director for the London Consultants Association (LCA) and Federation of Independent Practitioner Organisations (FIPO)
