James joined City & County Healthcare Group as its CEO in May 2017 from Serco plc. At Serco he was responsible for local government services and national justice and immigration services. Prior to that James was a member of the Executive Team at De La Rue plc where he ran the Identity Systems Division delivering international passport and ID card programmes. On leaving Cambridge University, James received his training at Pearson plc as part of their graduate management programme. He has also held management positions at the US industrial company PPG Industries and the software business Misys plc.
