James Maunder

James Maunder is a people-focused Information and Digital Technology leader and strategist. James develops teams with agile, innovative, and lean cultures, which harness curiosity and diversity of thought in solving business problems and delivering sustainable value through change.

Over 25 years, in organisations of all sizes, and across many international settings, James knows what makes for successful and agile delivery at pace. James understands that creating safe environments in which each team member can bring their whole selves is vital for creativity, bravery, and disciplined execution. James creates the environment in which all can flourish.

James has led in multiple sectors, including manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, membership, publishing, and healthcare, across both commercial, and not for profit and charitable sectors. A seasoned Senior Information Risk Officer, mentor, coach, and executive sponsor of equality, diversity, and inclusion. James has a flair for communication and distils complex concepts in a way that others can digest. He combines optimism, pragmatism, assertiveness, and passion in achieving transformational outcomes.

James is currently Chief Information Officer at The London Clinic, a leading private charitable hospital in London. Prior to this he was Director of Information Technology at Oxford University Press and, previously, the Institute of Directors.
