James has led in multiple sectors, including manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, membership, publishing, and healthcare, across both commercial, and not for profit and charitable sectors. A seasoned Senior Information Risk Officer, mentor, coach, and executive sponsor of equality, diversity, and inclusion. James has a flair for communication and distils complex concepts in a way that others can digest. He combines optimism, pragmatism, assertiveness, and passion in achieving transformational outcomes.
James is currently Chief Information Officer at The London Clinic, a leading private charitable hospital in London. Prior to this he was Director of Information Technology at Oxford University Press and, previously, the Institute of Directors.
