James has over 25 years of experience in the property industry. He is a recognised national specialist in the health and social care sector, primarily concerned with acting for corporate and private operators, banks, institutions and funds in the acquisition, disposal and funding of healthcare assets and land, both as going concerns and fixed income, throughout the UK and Europe. He leads the healthcare transactional business at Cushman & Wakefield.
James recently completed a major £50m Central London healthcare investment sales transaction in addition to acting for a major US REIT in acquiring BMI’s Woodlands private Hospital in Darlington and BMI’s Harbour Hospital, Poole.
