Dr Helen Hartley, formerly a consultant anaesthetist, Helen spent 9 years in medical indemnity, firstly as a medicolegal advisor, later as head of underwriting policy. She moved into PMI as a medical director in 2019, and is an advocate for high-quality, evidence-based healthcare provision, sustainable premiums, and data transparency to allow informed decision-making.
