Out-of-Hospital Healthcare Conference 2026: Preparing Tomorrow’s Healthcare Ecosystem
‘From hospital to community’ is one of the three central objectives of the Labour government’s NHS 10-Year Plan, published in July 2025. After decades of discussion, during which NHS spending on acute hospitals has continued to rise steadily, the UK healthcare system is now poised for meaningful change. Achieving this vision requires a redesign of care delivery, shifting services from large, crowded and often inefficient hospitals to convenient community-based settings closer to patients’ homes.
The Out-of-Hospital Healthcare Conference 2026 will explore how independent sector providers, both established and emerging, can play a key role in achieving this objective. By examining delivery models such as community clinics, urgent care services, virtual wards and homecare, the conference will show how these providers can support a more accessible, patient-focused healthcare system.
