Trevor Brocklebank is CEO and co-founder of Rise, an innovative provider of adapted seated sports that helps more than 10,000 people each month stay active, connected and independent through fun, inclusive physical activity. Rise works across care homes, with home care providers, in community settings, schools, supported living services and the NHS, supporting healthier ageing and improved wellbeing.
A recognised leader in social care, Trevor previously co-founded Home Instead in the UK and, as CEO, led its growth from start-up to one of the UK’s leading home care providers, earning a Queen’s Award for Innovation. He is a former Chair of the Home Care Association and the British Franchise Association, and has held a number of leadership roles across health, education and economic development, including as a Non-Executive Director of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Vice Chair of Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
Having spent more than two decades building organisations that support people to live independently, Trevor is particularly interested in the role of prevention, physical activity and community connection in improving outcomes and reducing demand on health and care services.
