Steve has a long involvement with the retirement housing sector including nearly 25 years with McCarthy Stone, latterly as a Managing Director in the north. Steve owns and operates the specialist retirement housing consultancy Secker Taylor Associates. They advise on retirement development whether at the tactical level to improve designs and viability or sales rates through to how to structure and deliver development process and strategic business reviews. He also has a portfolio of Non-Executive Directorships including York Housing Association (Chair), Karbon Homes, and Johnnie Johnson Housing amongst others.
