Shahi Islam is the Assistant Director of Affordable Housing Grants at Homes England responsible for the strategic development and management of affordable housing programmes and products. He leads a team that acts as the guardian for multi-billion pounds grant programmes – leading on programme and policy, delivery and the control environment for grant funding. Shahi has close to 20 years experience in housing working in roles covering policy, strategy and programme management.
