During his career, Peter has worked in healthcare industries across Europe; as an investor, as a CEO, and as a functional lead.
Peter currently is the CEO and Chairman of Optegra, a UK based international Eyecare provider with more than 35 clinics across Europe. He has a medical degree from the University of Leuven and holds a Master of Science in Management from the Boston University.
His previous experiences include time as Partner in the healthcare arm of private equity firm Gimv, as CEO and President of Handicare Group in Norway, and as President, EMEA at medical devices and therapeutics company, CR Bard. Peter began his career at Stryker in Belgium.
Peter also sits on the board of several Healthcare providers in Belgium and in the advisory board for Heran, a Venture Capital firm focused on digital Healthcare.
In 2021, Serge partnered with Fabrice Nottin and co-founded Cap10 Partners, a London-based mid-market private equity firm, to deliver on their shared philosophy: Creating investment opportunities where the return potential for investors and partners alike exhibits compelling asymmetry to the upside.
