Niki Wakelin is CEO of Big Life Adventure, a purpose-built digital platform specifically designed to create safer, more connected and more aspirational lives for people with learning disabilities and autism. Passionate about inclusion and innovation, Niki is helping to reimagine what modern social care can look like through combining technology, community and creativity to expand opportunities and challenge expectations.
Before becoming CEO, Niki played a key role in shaping Big Life Adventure’s brand vision and identity through her work as Director of Brand Strategy within The Peak15 Group, a leading social care provider, the organisation who developed Big Life Adventure. Known for bringing together big-picture thinking with practical delivery, she has built a reputation for turning bold ideas into real-world impact while keeping people and relationships firmly at the centre.
Big Life Adventure is beginning to gain national attention for its fresh approach to digital inclusion and social connection and was launched from Glastonbury Festival in 2025. Niki is a strong advocate for support that values independence, purpose, belonging and possibility, not simply care as maintenance and particularly passionate about amplifying the voices and ambitions of people with learning disabilities and/or autism and building cultures where people are encouraged to imagine bigger futures for themselves and their communities.
