Martin’s role with Home Instead and his non-executive and Trustee roles (Chair of the Homecare Association; Chair of The Care Workers’ Charity; member of the Age UK Board; Chair of Home Instead Charities) place him in a unique position to understand the issues facing the social care sector and to campaign for change.
He has a particular interest in the integration of health and social care and the role our homes will play as the hospitals of the future. Martin is also an advocate of the need to professionalise care work.
He oversees a network of over 250 franchise offices, delivering quality, relationship-led care to ageing adults.
Martin was awarded an MBE for services to older people.
