Lucy Corner is the Founder and Managing Director of Cornerstone Care Solutions Ltd, a specialist consultancy supporting health and social care providers across the UK with quality improvement, operational delivery and organisational resilience. A dual-registered nurse in adult and mental health, Lucy is also a Best Interest Assessor and Professional Nurse Advocate, bringing a strong clinical, ethical and leadership perspective to her work.
Working alongside a highly experienced team, Lucy supports a wide range of services including adult social care, children’s services and community provision. Cornerstone partners with organisations at all stages, from well-performing services seeking to strengthen and sustain quality, through to those navigating periods of change, growth or complexity. Their focus is on building robust governance, supporting leadership teams and embedding practical systems that deliver safe, effective and person-led care.
Lucy is a recognised voice in the sector on leadership, workforce development and quality improvement. She works closely with providers, commissioners, local authorities and national bodies including the Department of Health and Social Care and the Local Government Association, helping to bridge the gap between policy and practice and support more effective system-wide working.
Alongside her consultancy work, Lucy contributes to sector publications, speaks regularly at national events and is committed to developing practical tools and leadership initiatives that enable services to continuously improve, retain their workforce and deliver high-quality, sustainable care.
