John is the CEO of Salutem, a leading UK residential healthcare provider specialising in education and support; for the elderly, disabled people and with learning disabilities and complex needs.
John founded Salutem in 2016 with the ambition to build an organisation that would provide a strong culture of care. This was done through the acquisition of great care services that were not being fully enabled to thrive and growing next-generation care and specialist education facilities.
Prior to establishing Salutem, he was the Chairman of The Regard Partnership and ACH Group during the merger between the two. His involvement in all aspects of M&A, corporate management, home management and commissioner interaction gives him a broad insight into the best and worst practices in the sector. Before getting involved in care, John had a career in the City and was head of the European business of HFR asset management, a director at Barclays Capital and further roles at BNPParibas and Sciens.
More recently John was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List this year for his outstanding commitment to the social care sector and the people that Salutem support; and in particular during the Covid pandemic.
