Isabel is a senior life sciences lawyer with a specialist interest in life sciences, technology and healthtech. She is part of Mills & Reeve’s multidisciplinary life sciences team, supporting clients across the pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical device, diagnostics, medtech/healthtech and digital health sectors.
Her practice spans regulatory compliance, intellectual property and commercial contracting, and she regularly advises on the UK and EU regulatory frameworks governing pharmaceuticals, medical devices, AI-enabled technologies, advertising and promotion, and clinical research. She has advised on compliance and contracting for international and UK-based clinical trial programmes, collaborative projects between healthcare and life sciences organisations, and classification and compliance issues for innovative products such as AI-enabled tools, and has supported multiple biotechnology licensing and product development projects addressing complex inter-related IP, contractual and regulatory considerations. She is known for clear, practical guidance in highly technical, fast-evolving areas of law.
