Harvey began his career volunteering with a local children’s charity and has continued to volunteer with other charities ever since. He has worked for local authorities, not-for-profits and national charities. He holds an MBA, is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, charity trustee and chair of school governors. He comes from a care-experienced family, is a father of five, grandfather, runner/coach, cyclist, vegan and Newcastle United supporter!
