Gayle is a commercial partner with a specialist interest in healthcare and health tech solutions that improve health and social care outcomes. She leads our Health Tech practice.
She has over 25 years’ experience of finding commercial legal solutions for businesses, helping them achieve their growth plans through protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights, grant funding agreements, trading terms and conditions and innovative collaborations with customers and suppliers including universities and the NHS.
She is often called upon by clients to help them shape their strategies and sometimes to act as their fractional general counsel. Clients are wide ranging in size from SMEs to large international businesses and NHS organisations. She has experience of working on projects involving diagnostics, precision medicine, prevention, robotics, genomics, long term conditions monitoring and treatment, women’s health solutions and patient communications systems.
Gayle regularly speaks at conferences and works on the firm’s India desk, having visited Mumbai to meet our Indian clients and contacts. She particularly enjoys advising at the interface of health policy and the law.
She has held a non-executive directorship in the NHS acute sector.
