Dr Keith Klintworth’s medical career of 25 years has spanned many areas prior to qualifying as an anaesthetist in 1994.
His core interests have always consistently aligned with creating a sustainable healthcare market with attention to preventative care. Post reading his MBA in 2002 at Imperial College, he interacted with Discovery Health – parent company of Vitality. Their clear purpose of helping people gain better health through behaviour change resonated with Dr Klintworth to such a degree, he joined VitalityHealth in 2010, advancing to Managing Director and Board Director in November 2019.
His primary focus has been the customer journey and the member support provided to reduce lifestyle and/or clinical risk factors, the expansion of insurance services into Primary Care and the creation of member care digital assets – including Vitality GP and the CareHub for claims authorisations and booking appointments with a Consultant. From October 2020 Dr Klintworth took on the added responsibility as Group COO with the clear objective of aligning all of Vitality’s business units into One-Vitality to deliver premium customer experience. These responsibilities encompass Group Customer and Advisor Services, Group IT including digital assets and Group Change and Projects.
