Dr Eliot Sims

Eliot Sims qualified at Cambridge University in 1992 and trained at St Bartholomew’s and University College Hospitals before being appointed as a Consultant Oncologist in 2002.

He worked in a large NHS Trust in Essex specialising in the treatment of Breast Cancer with both radiotherapy and drug treatments and spent a decade as the Clinical Lead of Radiotherapy and Oncology. He chaired the medical advisory committee of Harley Street at Queens and later the breast cancer clinical reference group for GenesisCare UK. He was co-chair of the London Cancer Radiotherapy Expert Reference Group for many years.

Earlier this year, Eliot resigned from his NHS post on taking up the role of Chief Medical Officer GenesisCare UK but remains clinically active, running his private practice from several outpatient clinics in private hospitals in the Essex area.
