Barrie Davison is NatWest Group’s National Sector Head for Education, Healthcare, Local Authorities and Charities — a portfolio through which the Bank provides over £21 billion of lending and strategic support to institutions that underpin the UK’s social and economic fabric.
With three decades at NatWest, Barrie has held senior leadership roles across coverage and credit, shaping the Bank’s national approach to these critical sectors. A Psychology graduate, he is recognised as a leading industry voice, representing NatWest and the wider banking community on key Government, trade and academic taskforces, including the Royal Foundation’s Early Years Taskforce and the 3Ci Net Zero Neighbourhoods Committee.
Barrie is a passionate advocate for the role of globally competitive healthcare, education and public services in building a future-fit economy. His work has centred on driving financial innovation, advancing social mobility, and embedding sustainability in sector finance.
