Aubrey Bristow

Aubrey Bristow was a consultant anaesthetist on the staff at Parkland Hospital Dallas before being appointed to St Bartholomews Hospital London where he was Chairman of Anaesthesia for 7 years. A commercial pilot, he also developed both the aviation and medical side of interhospital transfers. Subsequently he founded Phoenix Hospital Group which operates hospitals and out patient facilities in London and Essex. He has sat on numerous committees in aviation and medicine including BMA Council. His clinical interests are preassessment, monitoring and risk management.
