Andy’s first registered manager’s role was in the 1980’s when managing a nursing home but since then he has had a wealth of experience in the recruitment, construction, computer software and hospitality industries. He moved back into the health and care industry in January 2019 becoming Helping Hands Chairman, later that year assuming the CEO role. Andy’s Helping Hands journey had begun earlier when his own mother was looked after by one of Helping Hands live-in cares until she passed away. Andy’s aim is to continue to provide the compassionate and person-centred care that Helping Hands are renowned for to even more people across the UK, by ensuring that Helping Hands is a supportive And great place to work.
