There are many ways that care providers can use innovate techniques to attract and retain staff. The panel of experts will give delegates guidance on how they can improve their recruitment and retention using innovative techniques and new modes of communication. The recruitment and retention of carers is one of the major issues for care providers, and this session will leave delegates with practical ways to innovate.

The experts from EY, Cow Corner and a real estate specialist (still to be specified) will lead a frank discussion on what sort of innovative pathways they are looking to invest in in care. They will guide care practitioners on how to position themselves in approaching potential investors.

There are some positive commissioning practices in local authorities which we want to highlight, and there are also sometimes blockages to innovative practice. The panel will engage local authority representatives, users of care, innovative care providers and academics in how local services can innovate to address the changing needs to community and society.
