Simon is responsible for developing and implementing ESG policy and practice across Care Trust REIT’s UK portfolio of registered care homes. Working in close partnership with operators, he coordinates the funding and delivery of sustainable initiatives — including solar PV, heat pumps and thermal insulation — while driving the organisation’s broader ESG agenda. Prior to this role, he served as Head of Development and Sustainability at primary care investor, Assura plc, where he spearheaded the development of net zero new build concept projects.
