
Tina Backhouse is a leading UK voice on women’s health, combining thirty years of commercial leadership in global pharma with a track record of shaping national policy. She built Theramex’s UK & Ireland business from a two-person operation into the company’s largest global affiliate, before going on to establish its first global policy and government affairs function. Alongside her executive career, Tina serves as Vice Chair of Menopause Mandate, sits on the DWP’s Workplace Menopause Working Group, chairs the Women’s Health Action Group, and is an Ambassador for Wellbeing of Women. She has contributed to national policy wins including the NHS Over 40 Health Check and single annual HRT prescription charge, and appears regularly in national media including the BBC, The Times and The Guardian.
