Devika Wood

Devika Wood is CEO of Ayla Care, a Class I UKCA-registered medical device delivering Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) — the only non-pharmacological intervention recommended by both NICE and the WHO for dementia — at scale across UK care homes. Care homes using Ayla are reporting 100% cognitive stability in residents within seven weeks, alongside stronger staff retention and inspection-ready outcomes data. Devika’s relationship with social care began long before her career. A young carer for twelve years, she experienced firsthand the gap between what good dementia care could look like and what was actually being delivered. That gap remains the driving force behind Ayla. Across more than thirteen years in digital health, Devika has worked at Google, Babylon, and AXA Health, founded Vida — one of the UK’s first tech-enabled care providers — and led digital health strategy at scale. She holds a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London and is a Forbes 30 Under 30 alumna, King’s Entrepreneur of the Year, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, and has been recognised by the Mayor of London and the United Nations #ShеInnovates campaign. She is also Co-Founder of WEALTH: Women in Health.
