Caroline Webb

Dr Caroline Webb is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Birmingham (UoB), and a qualified social worker with experience in statutory children and families work and child protection. Caroline is currently based in the AI & Digital Health Research and Policy Group at UoB where she is developing valuable cross-sector insights in the use of AI across both health and social care settings.  Her research focuses on the integration of AI into social work education and practice and she advocates for ethical, inclusive technology use which aligns with the values of the profession.  She has previously collaborated with leading organisations such as SCIE and Research in Practice to co-author systematic reviews and practitioner-focused resources.
