Owen is the Assistant Director, for Workforce at the NHS Race and Health Observatory. He has over 22 years’ experience of working in health care across three countries. He has worked in various management/leadership roles for clinical, Equality Diversity Inclusion (EDI), transformation, performance, and informatics teams. Owen is an alumnus of the NHS Graduate Scheme (Health Informatics specialism). Prior to working in the UK, he worked as an Occupational Therapist in his native Zimbabwe and in Botswana.
Owen is passionate about using data and technology to improve patient care and staff experiences. Away from work Owen is a keen runner.
