Recognised among the Social Care Top 30 of 2023, Clenton is a prominent figure in social care, drawing from his personal experiences as a disabled individual to passionately champion inclusivity and equity. As the Associate Director of the Think Local Act Personal partnership, Clenton works to transform the health and social care system. His influence is felt in the NHS Assembly and NHS Quality Board, where he shapes policies to prioritise marginalised communities, advocating for personalised care, autonomy, and dignity. Clenton is also a sought-after consultant, facilitator, and speaker, inspiring audiences to pursue change. His fight against ableism and racism is evident in his roles on groundbreaking COVID-19 impact studies and the Archbishops of Canterbury’s ‘Reimagining Care and Support Commission.’ Beyond health and social care, Clenton is a trustee for Disability Rights UK and the Race Equality Foundation and serves as a director at Nimbus: Disability Consultancy Ltd and NDTI.
