James Allen, whose career began in NHS roles responsible for social care transformation before moving into the private sector, joined National Care Group (NCG) in 2019 as Chief Executive Officer.
His experience and exceptional leadership skills have been instrumental in shaping NCG into the fastest-growing social care provider in the UK and in securing the Specialist Care Provider of the Year title at the National Care Awards 2025. Now employing more than 2,900 colleagues and delivering carefully planned care and support to over 1,300 adults – enabling them to achieve their full potential and to live as independently as possible within the community.
